Jeil Construction Completes Vietnam "Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center"...First Overseas Project Bears Fruit
Jeil Construction Co., Ltd. announced that the "Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center," which it built in the Nam Dinh Vu Economic Zone in Haiphong City, northern Vietnam, has been in operation since its completion in November 2025, as approved by the Vietnamese government. The "Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center" is Jeil Construction's first overseas project and is the result of a construction period of a little over one year.
This project initially received feasibility review support from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and was successfully completed through a joint equity investment with Korea Investment Real Asset Management Co., Ltd., the manager of the Smart City (S) Fund under Phase 1 of the PIS Fund, a policy fund created by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to promote overseas investment and development projects.
After completing a two-month trial operation, the "Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center" began full-scale operation in January 2026. The facility consists of ambient-temperature warehouses and cold-storage warehouses, and is characterized by its logistics competitiveness, which enables it to accommodate industrial components such as automobile batteries, as well as heavy cargo including steel and metal products.
Leveraging these strengths, the Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center recently signed a lease agreement for ambient-temperature warehouse space with VinFast, Vietnam's only electric vehicle manufacturer, and is also in talks with multiple companies regarding lease agreements for its cold-storage warehouses.
Buoyed by the success of the Haiphong integrated logistics center development project in Vietnam, Jeil Construction plans to accelerate additional overseas projects. Beginning in the first quarter of 2026, the company intends to break ground in two phases on a development project for an approximately 10-hectare integrated logistics center and rental factory complex in the Amata Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park, located about 10 kilometers from Long Thanh New International Airport in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam.
