Jeju International Airport is temporarily suspending operations for runway snow removal due to heavy snowfall.
On the 8th, Korea Airports Corporation announced, "Due to runway snow removal work following today's snowfall at Jeju Airport, operations will be temporarily suspended until 11:00 a.m."
The corporation added, "So far, there has been no facility damage, and we are continuously carrying out snow removal and de-icing operations at all airports."
Due to the heavy snowfall today, a total of 104 flights have been canceled at airports nationwide, including 42 at Jeju Airport and 24 at Gimpo Airport.
