A Coming-of-Age Fantasy Featuring Wolf-Human Characters
On January 8, Netflix announced that it has confirmed the production of a new original series tentatively titled "Beauty in the Beast" and has cast Kim Minju, Lomon, and Moon Sangmin in leading roles.
This coming-of-age fantasy romance tells the story of Minsu, who harbors a secret that he can transform into a wolf, as he meets his college senior Haejun and Doha, a wolf boy.
Kim Minju will play Minsu, who has lived suppressing her emotions to avoid revealing her ability to transform into a wolf. After receiving socialization training and entering university, she dreams of an ordinary life. Moon Sangmin will portray Haejun, who appears sharp on the outside but is gentle in nature, while Lomon will play Doha, a free-spirited wolf-human.

The script was written by Jin Han-sae, known for the Netflix series "Extracurricular" and "Glitch." The series will be directed by Jin Hyuk, who previously helmed dramas such as "The Legend of the Blue Sea," "Sisyphus: The Myth," and "Mrs. Oksibujun."
