Dongducheon City Recruiting Participants for the 2026 First Half Local Community Job Program
On January 5, Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that applications for participants in the 2026 first half local community job program will be accepted at each neighborhood administrative welfare center from January 7 to January 9.
This first half program will select a total of five participants for the environmental maintenance of the Soyosan tourist site and parking management projects. Eligible applicants must be citizens aged 18 or older who are capable of working, with a household income at or below 70% of the median income and assets not exceeding 400 million won. However, in order to expand youth participation, young job seekers aged 18 to 34 who are capable of working will be given priority selection without applying the standard point system.
Citizens wishing to participate should visit their local administrative welfare center within the application period, bringing identification and other required documents to apply.

Meanwhile, the first half local community job program will operate for about five months, from February 2 to June 30. Working hours are six hours per day, and the wage is 10,320 won per hour.
