According to Ahn's side, former Commander Kim is accused of giving false testimony as a witness during the trial for Kim Yonghyeon, former Minister of National Defense, and others, who are charged with participating in an insurrection, which was held on December 9 at the 25th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Ji Gwiyoun), thereby defaming Deputy Spokesperson Ahn.
At that time, former Commander Kim testified to the effect that "I saw her preparing for filming, even putting on makeup," and "she tried to seize firearms in a staged manner," which Ahn's side claims are false statements.
