Junggwan-eup Village Chiefs' Association in Gijang Donates Funds to Support Vulnerable Groups
Collected Meeting Attendance Allowances to Donate 1.17 Million Won
The Junggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Gijang County announced on December 15 that the Junggwan-eup Village Chiefs' Association had donated 1.17 million won on December 11 to support vulnerable groups in the local community.
The 53 village chiefs of Junggwan-eup play a key role in closely monitoring the daily lives of local residents and take the initiative in making Junggwan-eup a better place to live.
In particular, to help neighbors who are more likely to be marginalized during the winter, the association voluntarily collected and donated their meeting attendance allowances, continuing the practice from last year.
