Jeonju University Hosts 'Drone Experience' at Neighborhood Education Donation Expo

View original imageAccording to Jeonju University on the 15th, this expo was hosted by the Ministry of Education as the "2025 Neighborhood Education Donation Expo." The event featured a variety of care and education program experience classes, exhibitions and hands-on activities for educational donation programs, and cultural and artistic performances. Elementary school students, parents, dedicated and practical staff, and instructors from across the country participated.
This experience booth was jointly operated by the Jeonbuk Office of Education, Jeonju University, Woosuk University, and Wonkwang Health Science University.
Jeonju University operated the "SKY KICK" drone soccer experience booth, where visitors could directly experience drone piloting and drone soccer. In a youth drone soccer field made of air bounce materials, participants had the unique opportunity to become drone soccer strikers themselves.
Additionally, at the expo, the Jeonbuk region Neulbom School Council was held, providing an opportunity to visit and experience outstanding Neulbom School programs from other cities and provinces. Based on these experiences, the Jeonju University RISE Project Group established a foundation for exploring the direction of Neulbom School operations for the coming year.
Han Dongwook, Head of the Jeonju University RISE Project Group, stated, "It is very meaningful that this event could enhance young people's understanding and interest in drones, which are emerging as a promising industry of the future. We will continue to expand drone education and various regionally linked programs to foster future talent."

Meanwhile, the Jeonju University RISE Project Group's "Drone Classroom" project was selected in the 2025 customized program contest for regionally connected Neulbom Schools. The group is operating the drone Neulbom School at nine elementary schools in Jeonbuk Province, contributing to the revitalization of drone education.
