Pyeongtaek City Named Outstanding Institution for Third Consecutive Year in Gyeonggi Province's Comprehensive Land Information Evaluation
Ranked First in Address Information Category
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on December 8 that it has been selected as an outstanding institution in the address information category in this year's "Comprehensive Land Information Work Evaluation" conducted by Gyeonggi Province.
This evaluation comprehensively assesses the performance and best practices of 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province across seven areas, including address information, cadastral administration, and fair real estate practices, every year.
As a result, Pyeongtaek City has been chosen as an outstanding institution for three consecutive years: in 2023 (cadastral administration), in 2024 (cadastral resurvey), and again this year.
The city explained that, in this year's evaluation, a promotional video for road name addresses based on artificial intelligence (AI), produced directly by public officials, received high marks. The video was created and distributed using only internal personnel and technology, without additional budget, and was tailored to the perspective of elementary school students. It was recognized as a creative and efficient administrative example.
The city added that initiatives such as providing cadastral administration service guidance using QR codes and proactive efforts to establish transparent real estate transaction practices, all prioritizing citizen convenience, also received positive feedback in the evaluation.
