[Click e-Stock] "Hecto Innovation Joins Arc... Expected to Expand Domestically and Internationally"
Yuanta Securities analyzed on December 8 that Hecto Innovation's participation in the Arc ecosystem is expected to facilitate both domestic and international expansion. The company did not provide a target price or investment opinion.
Arc is a blockchain mainnet independently designed by Circle, the issuer of the stablecoin USDC, to enable on-chain financial activities for businesses and financial institutions. Currently, USDC is used on the Ethereum mainnet.
Circle announced the launch of the Arc Public Testnet in October 2025. The company selected over 100 partners worldwide across various sectors, including issuance, development, payments, banking, and insurance. Hecto Innovation was the only domestic company chosen as a partner in the digital wallet sector. Its subsidiary, Hecto Financial, was also the only domestic firm selected in the payments sector.
Kwon Myungjun, a researcher at Yuanta Securities, stated, "Hecto Innovation's participation in Arc's digital wallet sector demonstrates that its wallet technology meets global standards," adding, "Arc is not merely a payment network, but rather an infrastructure for stablecoin payments, tokenized assets, FX liquidity, and the on-chain integration of global financial products."
He further commented, "The experience of being an Arc partner raises expectations for potential overseas expansion," and, "We believe there is also potential for synergy with the payments sector through its subsidiaries."
He also projected that if the second phase of the Virtual Asset Basic Act is passed, there could be benefits in the domestic market as well. He explained, "Regardless of whether the issuer is a bank, many companies are preparing stablecoins," and, "WalletOne, which was acquired by Hecto Innovation, is the leading company among domestic firms with a VASP license in terms of wallet commercialization. This is why we believe Hecto Innovation could attract attention not only for its overseas business through Arc but also domestically."
