Expected to Become Photo Hotspots as Stay-Type Tourism Content
Three new mirror photo spots have been installed to capture the scenery of Uiam Lake in Chuncheon.
Sculptures made of stainless steel mirror material have been set up at Uiam Park, near Sairo 248, and close to the Samaksan Lake Cable Car. These installations fully reflect the images of the lake, sky, and forest, allowing visitors to take photos with Chuncheon's clear and pristine nature as a backdrop.
The "Water Puppy (WATER POP)" at Uiam Park features a design that combines the image of a water droplet and a puppy, with its rounded shape conveying a sense of vitality as if strolling along Uiam Lake. The "Eurasian Otter (FLOW POP)" near Sairo 248 is shaped like an otter swimming in Uiam Lake and serves as a scenic viewpoint where visitors can capture the suspension bridge, lake, and nature all in one shot.
Near the Samaksan Lake Cable Car station, the "Sky Wave (POP WAVE)" expresses the image of water droplets connecting to clouds, creating a dynamic feeling as if walking above the sky and lake. Installed at a 10-degree tilt, it allows visitors to photograph both the operating cable car and the panoramic view of Uiam Lake together.
