The program aims to strengthen horizontal communication among employees and provides a forum for freely discussing innovation agendas. Chairman Cho has consistently highlighted 'constant challenge and innovation' as the group's top priorities, stressing the importance of a 'proactive' mindset that embraces change and does not fear failure.
The recently held 'Vision Drawing' program is based on this proactive spirit, encouraging members to visually express the group's future direction and core values.
In addition, the Proactive Concert serves as a platform for broadly sharing key group news and announcements, as well as updates on global industry trends, mobility sector insights, and other business issues.
The group plans to collect the Vision Drawing works created by employees in relay format throughout the end of this year and hold an in-house exhibition during the first quarter of next year. By publicly showcasing the results produced by all affiliates participating in the same program, the group aims to share a 'blueprint' at the group level that brings together the diverse perspectives of its members.
The Proactive Concert is also being held at global business sites. Following the first 'Global Proactive Concert' at Hankook Tire's Europe headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9 (local time), the event was also held at the North American business site on October 20. Starting next year, the group plans to expand the Proactive Concert to all divisions and overseas plants worldwide.
