Kwon Seonju, former CEO of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, has been appointed as an outside director of Toss Bank. Kwon Seonju previously served as an outside director at KB Financial Group.
On December 2, Toss Bank announced the appointment of new outside directors Kwon Seonju and Song Changyoung.
This appointment follows the expiration of the terms of the previous outside directors, Park Sechun and Lee Gunho.
Kwon Seonju served as an outside director of KB Financial Group for five years until March of this year. Over the past year, she also served as the chairperson of the KB board of directors. Her appointment as chairperson attracted attention as she became the first female board chair in the financial sector.

Song Changyoung, the newly appointed outside director and audit committee member of Toss Bank, is the managing attorney at Sehan Law Firm and previously served as a non-standing member of the Securities and Futures Commission at the Financial Services Commission.
