OK Financial Group employees voluntarily participated in blood donation by visiting nearby blood donation centers in their respective regions. The group also organized on-site events by deploying a blood donation bus in front of its headquarters to encourage employee participation.
The campaign included a matching grant program, where the company contributed donations corresponding to the number of blood donation certifications completed by employees.
In addition to blood donation activities, the group also ran a sharing program in which employees wrote letters of support to encourage children with pediatric cancer and their families.
The donations and letters of support will be delivered to the Busan Naeum Pediatric Cancer Center through the Busan Leukemia Children's Foundation.
The OK Financial Group Love Blood Donation Campaign is a flagship social contribution program that has continued for 16 years since its launch in 2010, aiming to address blood supply shortages and promote a culture of blood donation.
OK Financial Group received the highest honor from the Korean Red Cross in 2021 and was awarded the Member Merit Medal of Honor in 2023.
An OK Financial Group representative stated, "It is even more meaningful that the blood donation campaign, which has been consistently carried out with employees for 16 years, is now expanding into new connections with the local community," adding, "We will continue to pursue social contribution activities in various ways to spread a culture of sharing."
Meanwhile, OK Financial Group is also engaged in various other social contribution activities beyond the Love Blood Donation Campaign. The company operates the OK Challenge in seasonal cycles, enabling employees to participate in environmental protection activities as part of their daily routines. This year, employees conducted river purification activities near Yangjaecheon in Seoul using EM mud balls.
