A Russian fitness trainer died of a heart attack after intentionally gaining 25 kilograms and attempting to lose the weight to promote his diet program. At just 30 years old, he passed away from a heart attack, having consumed up to 10,000 kilocalories in a single day. On November 26 (local time), international media outlets such as The Sun reported that a well-known fitness coach from Orenburg, Russia, died of a heart attack caused by an extreme diet.

Through social media, Nuyan Jin shared his dramatic weight gain journey with his followers, intentionally gaining weight to advertise his diet program. In one social media video, he said, "I am currently gaining weight for the diet course, and this is my 10,000-calorie meal," as he shared footage of himself eating junk food.
His "daily meal plan" consisted of pastries and half a slice of cake for breakfast, 800 grams of dumplings with plenty of mayonnaise for lunch, and two small pizzas and a hamburger for dinner. He also revealed that he snacked on potato chips throughout the day. With this eating pattern, he gained 13 kilograms in just one month, reaching a body weight of 105 kilograms.
He named this challenge the "marathon" and planned to show how quickly he could lose at least 25 kilograms, aiming to motivate his clients to diet. However, the day before his death, he canceled a workout class, saying he was not feeling well, and ultimately died in his sleep from a heart attack. His death came just months after world-famous bodybuilder Ilya Golem Efimchik died of a heart attack in September. Efimchik reportedly consumed 16,500 kilocalories daily to maintain his weight of 158 kilograms. He was 36 years old at the time of his death.
