Gyeonggi Office of Education Holds Training for School Accounting Officers on the 25th
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education conducted a training session for school accounting officers to enhance the autonomy of school accounting and reduce work-related burdens.
On the 25th, the provincial office announced that it held a training session for school accounting officers at the Suwon Gwanggyo Southern Office, aiming to provide solutions for school staff experiencing difficulties in budget planning and execution management. The training was also part of efforts to realize future-oriented education in Gyeonggi by strengthening support for schools and increasing their autonomy.
More than 120 participants attended the session, including school accounting officers from 25 regional education support offices in the province and leading instructors in school accounting.

The provincial office is working to expand the financial management autonomy of individual schools and reduce their work-related burdens by revising the guidelines. These revisions are based on the Ministry of Education’s standard budget codes and incorporate improvement suggestions from schools and education support offices, measures to simplify expenditure documentation, and clarification of frequently confused budget items.
