H&G Chemical, based in Yeosu, received the top prize in the Corporate Mentor category for operating a program that combined strengthening participants' sense of belonging, providing practical, work-centered tasks, and offering employment support mentoring. This program successfully led to employment at local mid-sized companies for participating youth.
Additionally, the Korea Communications Agency was recognized for its work experience program in the "Digital Media and Broadcasting Content" field, which provided young people with practical experience and career planning opportunities. The agency received the Excellence Award in the internship and mentoring category.
The Talent Development Academy, which received an award for its project-based program, operated initiatives such as the "Productivity Improvement Project for Automation Facility Construction (Daewoong S&T, DK)" and the "Content-Based Digital Marketing Program (Hite Jinro, Bohae Brewery)." These programs supported young people in acquiring practical job skills by participating in hands-on projects at manufacturing and distribution companies.
Kim Jibok, Director of the Talent Development Academy, said, "It is very meaningful that our efforts to help young people discover their potential and design their growth paths have been recognized externally."
Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "These awards are the result of companies and institutions in the Honam region working together to provide young people with high-quality work experience opportunities. We will continue to strengthen our support for discovering participating companies across various industries and operating programs, so that young talent can find employment, grow, and settle in the region."
