Professor Kyunghee Lee of Shinhan University Elected as 13th President of the Korean Society of Dental Hygiene
Shinhan University (President Kang Sungjong) announced on November 7 that Professor Kyunghee Lee from the Department of Dental Hygiene was elected as the 13th president of the Korean Society of Dental Hygiene at the society's comprehensive academic conference and general meeting held on November 1.
The Korean Society of Dental Hygiene, founded on May 27, 2000, was selected as a registered academic journal by the National Research Foundation of Korea in 2011. The society has contributed to the advancement of dental hygiene research and has played a significant role in improving public oral health through a variety of academic studies on dental hygiene education and oral health promotion.

Professor Kyunghee Lee, the newly appointed president, stated, "At a time when the academic value and social responsibility of dental hygiene are more important than ever, I feel a profound sense of responsibility and deep gratitude to be elected as the 13th president." She added, "We are at a critical turning point where we must expand both our academic identity and practical expertise. I will do my utmost to ensure that the Korean Journal of Dental Hygiene continues to be recognized as an outstanding academic journal by leading qualitative growth in research, expanding international research collaboration and academic exchange, and strengthening the global standing of dental hygiene."
