The event also included a "Safety and Health Management Practice Declaration Ceremony" and an "Opening Ceremony for the New Veterans Service Website."
At the "Safety and Health Management Practice Declaration Ceremony," the Chairman, as the chief executive officer, expressed his commitment to safety and health management. To ensure that all employees participate in creating a safe, accident-free Veterans Service, a new safety and health management policy was established, and a representative of the employees read the declaration aloud.
Following this, the "Opening Ceremony for the New Veterans Service Website" was held to celebrate the complete overhaul of the main website. Through this, domestic and international users are expected to benefit from improved and more convenient services, such as enhanced hospital appointment booking using the latest information technology, online applications for nursing home admission, and a map service for affiliated hospitals.
Yoon Jongjin, Chairman of the Veterans Service, stated, "I am deeply honored to celebrate the 44th anniversary of our organization, which is responsible for the healthy lives of veterans' families, focusing on medical care and welfare. The Veterans Service will innovate veterans' medical services, including expanding AI-based services, and establish a stable financial foundation to ensure reliable service provision. We will strive to realize the values of veterans' affairs with a sense of ownership and responsibility."
