Seo-gu Gwangju to Host Lecture by Neuroscientist Dr. Dongseon Jang on November 6
Theme: "How AI Changes the World"
Seo-gu District in Gwangju will host a 'Special Book Talk' featuring Dr. Dongseon Jang, one of Korea's leading neuroscientists, at the Seobitmaru Culture and Arts Center at 7 p.m. on November 6.
According to Seo-gu on November 3, this book talk will be held under the theme "How AI Changes the World" and will consist of a two-part program: a lecture in the first half and a conversation session in the second half.
Dr. Dongseon Jang is the head of the Curious Brain Lab and previously conducted research on human perception, cognition, and behavior at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Germany. He operates the popular YouTube channel "Dongseon Jang's Curious Brain," and his major works include "How AI Changes the World" and "The Brain Wants to Dance."
The first part of the lecture will focus on the development and applications of artificial intelligence, its impact on society and culture, and will offer insights into the roles and values required of humans in the era of digital transformation.
In the second part, Seo-gu District Mayor Kim Ikang will participate as the moderator, engaging in an open conversation with Dr. Jang on artificial intelligence and various other topics.
