View original imageMuan County in Jeonnam has joined a relay campaign supporting the bid to attract the artificial sun (nuclear fusion) research facility to Jeonnam, which is expected to lead the era of future clean energy.
On October 30, the county announced that it participated in this relay challenge to support Jeonnam Province’s ongoing efforts to attract the artificial sun research facility, as well as to foster community consensus and encourage participation.
Kim San, County Governor, stated, "The artificial sun research facility is a strategic project that will drive next-generation energy competitiveness," emphasizing, "Jeonnam, with its outstanding location and abundant renewable energy resources, is the optimal site for the research facility." He further expressed strong support, saying, "This bid will become a new growth engine for the development of the southwestern region, including Muan County."
