According to the National Fire Agency, the number of mountain rescue incidents increased from September last year, reaching 8,706 cases during the two months of September and October, which accounted for 26% of the annual total. In particular, accidents caused by slipping (2,849 cases) were the most common, followed by getting lost (2,697 cases) and injuries from accidents (1,833 cases).
