CJ Olive Young Launches Social Contribution Brand "ME:RACLE" to Support Young Adults Preparing for Independence
Launch of Integrated Social Contribution Brand "ME:RACLE"
"Miracle Campaign" for Young Adults Preparing for Independence Begins This Month
CJ Olive Young announced on October 22 that it has launched its integrated social contribution brand, ME:RACLE, and will begin the "Miracle Campaign" for young adults preparing for independence starting this month.
ME:RACLE is a social contribution brand that embodies Olive Young’s core value of "healthy beauty" and delivers the message that "beautiful changes that begin with me can positively transform the world."
Olive Young has selected young adults preparing for independence after leaving care facilities as brand partners. The company plans to support their self-reliance, recognizing the difficulties these individuals face in establishing a foundation for growth due to unequal opportunities and emotional isolation.
Accordingly, Olive Young is introducing the K-Beauty industry talent development program "My First ME:RACLE." This program offers practical beauty education and career exploration opportunities, and is open to all young adults preparing for independence.
Selected participants will receive K-Beauty themed education, including makeup certification and skincare practice, over a five-month period from the inauguration ceremony in December until April of next year. In addition, beauty consultants working in major Olive Young stores will participate as mentors, providing field-based training opportunities grounded in real store experience. Outstanding graduates of the program will be given the special opportunity to participate in a "Global Insight Trip" to the United States.
The company will also continue to operate the "ME:RACLE BOX," a free support initiative that has evolved from the "Pink Box Sharing Campaign" launched in 2016. The range of support items has been diversified to focus on beauty and lifestyle products, and the coverage area has expanded from the Seoul region to a nationwide scale. This activity has been piloted since July, and including both the Pink Box and ME:RACLE Box, a total of 25,000 individuals have received goods to date.
