Democratic Party Files Complaint Against Park Jeonghoon Over Allegations of Kim Hyunji's Mobile Phone Replacement
The Democratic Party of Korea has filed a police complaint against Park Jeonghoon, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, who claimed that the replacement of the mobile phone by Kim Hyunji, First Secretary to the Presidential Office, amounted to destruction of evidence.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, Lee Sungyun, head of the Democratic Party's legal committee, and others filed a defamation complaint against Assemblyman Park on the 21st.
The Democratic Party explained the reason for the complaint, stating, "Secretary Kim has not changed her mobile phone number, and the replacement of the device was carried out in a very ordinary and routine manner."
