Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate to develop a social contribution model that connects art and social impact, jointly planning various events such as charity auctions using both online and offline platforms.
In particular, the core of this agreement is to link it with UNICEF projects that support children around the world suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder due to natural disasters and war. In the future, donations raised through related activities will be used to support UNICEF projects that help children express their emotions and provide psychological therapy through art activities. The two organizations plan to establish a differentiated social contribution model that combines art and giving, thereby promoting a culture of sharing.
Okkyung Lee, CEO of Seoul Auction, stated, "Art is a bridge that connects hearts and the starting point for changing the world through empathy. Through our collaboration with the Korean Committee for UNICEF, Seoul Auction aims to show that art can go beyond mere appreciation to become a medium for sharing that brightens the world."
