"Integrity in Administration Builds Trust"... Yangsan City Promotes a Culture of Integrity with Ombudsman
Yangsan City and Ombudsman Hold Integrity Roundtable
On October 16, Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province held a "Integrity Roundtable" to promote anti-corruption and a culture of integrity, with Yangsan Mayor Na Dongyeon and members of the Yangsan City Ombudsman (Chairman Han Sangcheol) in attendance.
The Ombudsman not only fulfills its primary functions of expressing opinions on grievance petitions and recommending improvements to unreasonable systems, but also provides proposals and advisory roles to enhance integrity.
Accordingly, during this roundtable, participants formed a consensus on the importance of enhancing integrity, presented the direction for integrity policies for 2026, and discussed mutual cooperation to spread a culture of integrity.
Han Sangcheol, Chairman of the Ombudsman, stated, "The Ombudsman will actively participate in spreading a culture of integrity so that we can make a tangible contribution to improving the city's integrity."
