“Nol Dagage” at Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex Receives “Woorimalbit of the Year” Certification
The board game experience space “Nol Dagage” at the Gyeonggi Peace Plaza Library in the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex was selected in the space category at the “Woorimalbit of the Year” event, held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on October 11.
The “Woorimalbit of the Year” selection is an event jointly organized by the Korean Language Society and the Federation of Korean Language Culture Centers to promote the spread of proper Korean language culture. It certifies public institutions that have given policy initiatives or spaces names that effectively utilize the Korean language.
Gyeonggi Province’s “Nol Dagage” received high praise for being a board game experience space that anyone can easily visit, and for its name, which captures the purpose and character of a community space in a simple and friendly way. The province plans to widely promote the example of “Nol Dagage,” which reflects Gyeonggi’s policy of creating public spaces and its commitment to Korean language-friendly administration, and to expand the use of easy Korean names in future policies and public spaces.
