Gwangju Shinsegae to Host 130kg "Tuna Dismantling Show"
Gwangju Shinsegae is hosting a unique event where visitors can watch the dismantling process of a large bluefin tuna in person.

View original imageThe event will take place at 5 p.m. on October 11 at the "Tuna School" popup store located in the food hall on basement level one of the main building. Two experts will dismantle a domestic bluefin tuna weighing approximately 130 kilograms over the course of about one hour, and on-site tastings will also be offered.
The dismantled tuna parts will be sold on the spot. Special domestic bluefin tuna cuts (20 pieces) are priced at 99,000 won, and assorted tuna belly (20 pieces) is available for 79,000 won, both on a first-come, first-served basis. Sales will end early if supplies run out.
