For this recital, Park Yushin will present a wide spectrum of emotions through works by four composers, each representing a different era.

The program will open with Beethoven's "Seven Variations on 'Bei M?nnern, welche Liebe f?hlen' from Mozart's The Magic Flute," showcasing the refinement and wit characteristic of the Classical period. Next, Barber's "Cello Sonata" will be performed, offering lyricism and modern tension encapsulated in the concise and direct melodies unique to American music, distinct from traditional European Romanticism. Dvorak's "Four Romantic Pieces" will evoke the warm and familiar sentiment of the Bohemian spirit. The recital will conclude with Chopin's only cello sonata, which exemplifies exquisite lyricism at its finest.

Professor Sohn Jungbeom of Kyung Hee University College of Music will collaborate in the performance. In 2017, Sohn Jungbeom became the first Korean pianist to win first prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Germany by unanimous decision of the judges.
