Japanese Man Arrested for Breaking In via Air Conditioner Unit and Sexually Assaulting Korean Ex-Girlfriend
A Japanese man was arrested by police after breaking into his Korean ex-girlfriend's home in Seoul in the middle of the night and committing sexual assault.
The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on October 8 that they had detained a Japanese man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges including breaking and entering and violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
A is accused of climbing up the outdoor air conditioning unit of an apartment building at around 2 a.m. on October 5 and breaking into the home of a Korean woman in her 40s, identified as B, where he committed sexual assault.
He was arrested by police later that day while attempting to break the digital door lock on the apartment's front door.
