Practicing Warm Sharing for Local Neighbors
On October 2, Guam 2-dong in Masan Hoewon-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province, announced that the Guam 2-dong Saemaeul Women's Association and Council had donated 30 boxes of Love Kim Gift Sets in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
The donated items were prepared to help neighbors in need enjoy a more abundant holiday and will be delivered to 30 low-income households and vulnerable families in the district.
The Guam 2-dong Saemaeul Women's Association and Council donate comfort items such as seaweed, tteokguk (rice cake soup), and rice every holiday to support marginalized neighbors. In addition, they continue to organize sharing events for vulnerable groups in welfare blind spots through activities such as kimchi-making volunteer work.
