National March 15 Democratic Cemetery Management Office Holds Exhibition Under the Theme "Your Spring...Together"
A Cultural Space to Experience Autumn
Here at March 15 Memorial Hall
The National March 15 Democratic Cemetery Management Office announced on October 2 that it held an opening ceremony for a special exhibition at the March 15 Memorial Hall under the theme "Your Spring...Together."
This exhibition features works by the local young artist group "Changwon Project," who reinterpret the March 15 Uprising from a new perspective and showcase their creative endeavors. It is drawing attention as a unique exhibition that combines elements of both a memorial hall and an art gallery.
The twelve participating artists have each captured the March 15 Uprising through their own lens, expressing it in today's everyday actions and embedding stories within motifs such as a red sea, a wall with holes, entangled bodies, and white cloth-reflecting narratives within our current lives.
The opening ceremony, held on October 1, was attended by around 50 people, including heads of local organizations, curators from the Gyeongnam Provincial Museum of Art, and participating artists. The event included a progress report, remarks from the curator, and a site tour.
