On October 1, Park Yoonkyu, President of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), stated this at the launch ceremony for the "Medical AI Innovation Ecosystem (Doctor Answer 3.0)" project group held at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital.
Doctor Answer 3.0 aims to develop services that enable patients to proactively manage their health even after returning to daily life, while also supporting timely intervention by medical professionals in emergencies. This approach leverages artificial intelligence (AI) technology to assist in the post-treatment prognosis management of patients. This represents an advancement from the previous 1.0 and 2.0 projects, which focused mainly on supporting medical professionals in disease diagnosis and treatment activities.
