Increased Ferry Services and Support Teams to Operate from October 3 to 7
The Sinan Transportation Foundation has prepared special transportation measures to ensure smooth travel for returning holiday travelers.
View original imageThe Sinan Transportation Foundation, located in Sinan County, South Jeolla Province, has prepared special transportation measures for the Chuseok holiday to ensure smooth and safe travel for those returning home.
According to the foundation on October 1, from October 3 to 7, a total of five days, eight regular passenger ferries and twenty-two pilot and administrative vessels will be deployed across seven routes. In addition, a special transportation support team consisting of two groups and about thirty members will be operated to provide on-site assistance with ticketing, safety management, and cooperation with related agencies.
In particular, for the Haui and Sini routes, which are expected to see the highest number of travelers, one additional passenger ferry will be added, and from October 3 to 6, the Anjwa Bokho-Jangsan Bukgang-Haui Unggok section will operate four additional trips per day. The foundation also plans to increase the frequency of service on other routes as needed to minimize traffic congestion.
