Pocheon City to Host 6th Pocheon City Youth Festival on October 11... A Platform for Youth Empowerment and Community Engagement
Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyeon) will host the '6th Pocheon City Youth Festival 2025' at the Pocheon Sports Complex on October 11.
This year’s festival is co-hosted by Pocheon City and the Youth Festival Planning Committee, with a notable emphasis on increased youth participation and leadership. Under the slogan “Resonance, Now It’s Our Time,” a variety of programs directly planned by young people will be offered.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with “Morning Yoga,” followed by performances by youth bands, busking, yodeling, and a youth quiz show, creating a stage where young people and citizens can come together and enjoy.
A total of 48 booths will be set up at the venue. These will include booths promoting youth policy, MBTI and tarot experiences, hands-on and sales booths featuring young entrepreneurs and organizations, and a food truck zone, ensuring a wide range of activities for people of all ages to participate in.
In the evening, the official commemorative ceremony and the “2025 Pocheon City Youth Awards” presentation will be hosted by Pocheon City’s honorary ambassador Yoon Taeyong. Starting at 6:30 p.m., a celebratory concert featuring singers Shin Yongjae, Kyungseo, Kang Seungsik, and Sebin will take place, offering a vibrant stage for both youth and citizens to enjoy together.
Pocheon City expects this festival to serve as a platform for young people to showcase their abilities and to foster communication within the local community.
Baek Younghyeon, Mayor of Pocheon City, stated, “The Youth Festival is an opportunity to confirm the potential of youth leadership and the local community,” and called for active interest and participation from citizens.
