Geumsan County to Maintain 15% Cashback Rate for "Geumsan Love Gift Certificate" in October
Cashback Limit Set at 300,000 Won Per Person
Geumsan County will maintain the 15% cashback rate for the Geumsan Love Gift Certificate, which has been in effect since September, throughout October as well. The cashback accumulation limit per person is set at 300,000 won.
The decision to maintain the 15% cashback rate reflects both positive feedback from residents and the government’s regional gift certificate policy direction. It is also expected to reduce the financial burden on residents who need to purchase holiday gifts and ritual items for Chuseok, Korea’s largest traditional holiday.
The Geumsan Love Gift Certificate can be purchased through the local gift certificate app “Chak” on smartphones, and used at affiliated merchants. It is accepted at approximately 2,900 locations, including local restaurants, hospitals, academies, and beauty salons.
Cashback accumulation is only available for mobile and card-type gift certificates, and does not apply to paper certificates.
