Hyejung Choi has claimed the prize money title for the second consecutive year.
On September 30, at the West Ocean Country Club Ocean and Valley Course (par 72, 5,634 yards) in Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do, during the final second round of the 7th leg of the KLPGA 2025 West Ocean Country Club Champions (Senior) Tour (total prize money of 70 million KRW), she carded nine birdies and one double bogey for a 7-under-par 65. With a final total of 13-under-par 131, Hyejung Choi finished three strokes ahead of Yubin Lee (10-under-par 134) to secure her second victory of the season.

View original imageShe received 10.5 million KRW in prize money for this win, bringing her season total to 55,515,000 KRW and clinching the prize money title. Under the new rules introduced this year, she has also secured a regular tour seed, which is awarded to the Champions Tour prize money leader.
Hyejung Choi stated, "I am truly happy to be the first multi-winner of the Champions Tour season, and I am proud to have become the prize money leader once again following last year. I am pleased with myself for practicing hard and achieving good results," adding, "I will do my best in the one remaining tournament this season to achieve a third victory." She continued, "Securing a first-division seed for the first time in 10 years feels very special. I believe this is a sign to continue working hard at golf," and said, "I will not become complacent and will strive to work even harder as a player."
