Out of 593 submissions, 379 programs were finalized-24 more than last year-after evaluating the relevance of the content, operational capacity, and appropriateness of budget allocation. A representative from the National Heritage Administration stated, "We have increased the budget to expand both the number of operations and their scale," and added, "We aim to make national heritage a core asset for regional development, respond to the crisis of population decline, and contribute to community recovery."
Among the newly added "Vivid National Heritage" programs are "Seeping Village, Ganghwa Yusubu" in Ganghwa, Incheon, and "The Path of Danjae, Standing Upon It" in Jung-gu, Daejeon, totaling 32 new projects. For "Confucian School and Seowon Utilization," 11 new programs have been included, such as "Hwanggan Hyanggyo: Taste, Style, and Elegance" in Yeongdong, Chungbuk, and "Gimsan Uijin: The Living Breath of Scholars" in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk.
