Changwon Facilities Corporation Selected as Excellent Institution for Priority Purchase of Products Manufactured by Severely Disabled Persons
Changwon Facilities Corporation in South Gyeongsang Province announced on September 10 that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2025 Priority Purchase of Products Manufactured by Severely Disabled Persons Meritorious Service Award,' organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award.
The Meritorious Service Award Ceremony was held at the '2025 Severely Disabled Persons Product Expo' venue at the aT Center in Seoul the previous day.
The Priority Purchase of Products Manufactured by Severely Disabled Persons Meritorious Service Award is given to institutions and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding performance in purchasing such products, or who have contributed to promoting purchases by increasing the purchase ratio or amount.
The corporation has made efforts to expand the purchase of products manufactured by severely disabled persons, consistently exceeding the legally mandated purchase ratio and contributing to system improvements, which was recognized in this award.
Last year, out of a total purchase amount of 9.117 billion won, 441 million won (4.83%) was spent on purchasing products manufactured by severely disabled persons.
