Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province began conducting the 'Second Half Job Training for Promoted Employees' on September 2 for 193 civil servants who were promoted to grades 6 to 8 during the regular personnel appointments in July this year.

View original imageFollowing the first half of the year, the 'Job Training for Promoted Employees' is organized in small groups of 50, tailored to employees promoted to grades 6, 7, and 8. The training is customized to help them develop the necessary competencies for their new positions and perform their work effectively.
The curriculum includes: △ Writing planning reports (document planning and structuring), △ Budget and accounting practices (understanding regulations and procedures, audit case studies), and △ Legal affairs (understanding the legal system, administrative dispositions, interpretation of administrative law). These subjects have been designed to address areas where employees commonly face challenges or are required to have essential knowledge for their work.
In particular, after this second half training, both academic achievement and individual competencies will be evaluated. Through this approach, the city expects to enhance the focus and effectiveness of the training.
Jung Sookyi, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, explained, "This training was prepared to support civil servants in making significant progress at each stage of their career in public service." She added, "Furthermore, by systematically strengthening individual competencies, we aim to enhance the overall organizational competitiveness."

Meanwhile, in the first half of the year, job training was provided to 238 employees who were promoted in January. In the second half, the training will be held at Changwon Moonsung University for a total of 10 days: from September 2 to 5 for grade 8 promotees, from September 8 to 11 for grade 7 promotees, and from September 15 to 16 for grade 6 promotees.
