Gangjin County Childcare Support Center Wins Grand Prize for Excellence in Childcare Services
The Gangjin County Childcare Support Center in Jeollanam-do won the grand prize in the 2025 Rural Childcare Service Support Project Excellence Contest, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Rural Community Foundation.

View original imageAccording to Gangjin County on August 28, the center's "Visiting Care Class" directly serves township-level areas with insufficient childcare facilities, offering sensory development programs, cultural experience activities, mobile toy and book rentals, reading intervention programs, and healing programs for parents.
Through these initiatives, children have developed social skills and creativity, while parents have experienced reduced childcare burdens. The local community has benefited from improved childcare environments and job creation.
