Siheung City Accepting "Lifelong Learning Essays" Until September 12
Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province is holding a "Lifelong Learning Essay Contest" until September 12 to discover stories from citizens who have experienced change and growth through lifelong learning.
Under the theme "Your Story, My Story, Our Diverse Learning Experiences," the contest seeks a variety of stories related to learning, such as experiences of participating in lifelong learning and changes in life through learning. Submissions should be in free-form writing, with a length of approximately 2 to 3 pages of A4 paper.
Anyone interested in lifelong learning who is either a Siheung citizen or works at a business located in the city is eligible to participate. Applicants can download the application form from the official Siheung City website and submit it either in person or by email.
The city will select one grand prize winner, one excellence award winner, and three encouragement award winners through a review process, and present awards accordingly. The winning entries will be introduced during the Siheung City Lifelong Learning Festival. For more details, please contact the Siheung City Lifelong Learning Division.
