On July 22, the Korea Businessmen Association donated 500 million won in flood recovery funds to the National Disaster Relief Association. The recent torrential rains have resulted in dozens of casualties and more than 4,000 cases of facility damage nationwide. Ryu Jin, chairman of the Korea Businessmen Association, expressed his regret, stating, "It is very unfortunate that such extensive damage has occurred nationwide due to flooding at a time when we need to overcome the downturn in the local economy and domestic consumption." He emphasized that "companies must join forces and actively participate in recovery efforts." Meanwhile, it was also reported that Poongsan Group donated 500 million won for flood recovery.
