Two Injured in Sillim-dong Stabbing Rampage in Seoul... Suspect Dead
A stabbing incident occurred in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, injuring two citizens. The suspect took his own life immediately after the incident.
On June 30, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced that at around 8:30 p.m. the previous day, two people were injured by a weapon wielded by a man in his 30s at a multi-family residence in Sillim-dong.
The two victims are men in their 20s and 30s. One suffered an ankle injury and the other a shoulder injury, but both are confirmed to be in stable condition and their lives are not in danger.
The suspect reportedly rang the doorbell of the multi-family residence where the victims lived, committed the crime after the door was opened, and then jumped from the rooftop of the building immediately after the attack. He was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest but was pronounced dead.

Police believe that the suspect and the victims did not know each other and are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
