Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association Appoints Park Chihyung as New Executive Vice Chairman
Strengthening Policy Execution to Boost Women's Economic Empowerment
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced on June 9 that Park Chihyung, former Director of Operations at the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, has been appointed as the new Executive Vice Chairman.
Park, the new Executive Vice Chairman, was officially appointed following board approval on May 28 and will serve a three-year term beginning June 9. He will also concurrently serve as the Director of the Women Entrepreneurs Support Center.
Park has worked for 17 years at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, holding positions such as spokesperson, head of operations support, and secretary. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as Director of Small Business Policy, demonstrating his crisis management capabilities.

Most recently, he served as Director of Operations at the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, taking the lead in strengthening collaboration between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises. Park stated, "With my in-depth understanding and practical experience in SME and small business policy and industry development, I will focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and enhancing the policy execution capabilities of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association."
