Andong City, Gyeongbuk, will hold the 'Sanseong Village DJ Festival' at the Korean Culture Theme Park's Sanseong Village area from June 7 to 8.

View original imageThis event is organized by the Korea Institute of Spiritual Culture Foundation and will be held under the theme of "A Festival of Nature, Music, and Light." The festival will feature DJ performances by more than 20 professional DJs, media facade shows, a variety of food options, tent camping, and various other programs.
The DJ performances will take place across three stages: the rooftop of the management center, the indoor space of the Uibyeong Experience Center, and Hyangchon. Genres will include house, techno, and pop music. The performances will be held in an all-night format, starting on the evening of June 7 and continuing until the morning of June 8.
In particular, the media facade utilizing the theme park's fortress walls will incorporate advanced technologies such as projection mapping and LED lighting, offering visitors a new visual experience.
In the marketplace area, Andong specialties will be available for purchase, including Andong Soju, beer, and traditional tea. Participants can use the camping sites or freely set up tents to relax in nature.
Additionally, the unique cultural programs of the Korean Culture Theme Park will be offered, including Hanbok experiences, traditional games, VR experiences, attractions, and regular performances at Dosan Nanjang.
An official from Andong City stated, "This festival is a celebration that reflects the 'Hip+Tradition' trend, where tradition and modernity harmonize. It will be a special opportunity to experience the new cultural appeal of Andong."
