Jeongeup Municipal Choir to Hold "Regular Concert" on the 10th
Subtitled "Chorus in Cinema"
Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province will hold the 76th regular concert of the Municipal Choir at 7:30 PM on the 10th at the Jeongeupsa Arts Center.
According to the city on June 2, this performance will be a special stage centered around movie soundtracks, and will be held under the subtitle "Chorus in Cinema." All seats will be offered free of charge.

View original imageAnyone can attend the concert on a first-come, first-served basis without prior registration, and admission will begin 30 minutes before the performance starts. A total of 15 songs will be performed, including choral reinterpretations of music featured in classic films such as "Les Miserables" and "Take Off."
The stage, which will cross various genres such as classical music, Korean pop, and art songs, will last about 80 minutes. The Municipal Choir's unique and sophisticated harmonies will add a fresh emotional impact to the familiar melodies for the audience.
The Jeongeup Municipal Choir has consistently awakened citizens' cultural sensibilities through new attempts and arrangements at every concert. This performance is also expected to further elevate the level of cultural arts in Jeongeup City with a program that combines both popularity and artistry.
Mayor Lee Haksoo said, "I hope this stage by the Municipal Choir will be a meaningful time to relive the emotions from the movies," adding, "We will continue to provide ongoing support so that citizens can frequently enjoy high-quality performances in the future."
