Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province has rolled up its sleeves to enhance the practical AI skills of public officials.
On May 19 and 22, Yeongju City held the "2025 Generative AI Capacity-Building Training for Public Officials" at the city hall auditorium over two days.

View original imageThis training was organized to effectively introduce AI technology across all areas of administration and to provide citizens with faster and more accurate administrative services. The program consisted of nine sessions, including three theory classes and six practical workshops.
The theory sessions combined the latest trends in generative AI with mobile-based exercises, while the practical sessions focused on hands-on skills such as short-form content creation, prompt writing, and building automation scenarios.
The lectures were led by Yoo Janghyu, CEO of AG Bridge and a digital specialist YouTuber, who delivered practical, real-world examples centered on actual administrative work. Participants expressed high satisfaction, saying the training was immediately applicable to their work.
Lee Jaehoon, Acting Mayor of Yeongju City, emphasized, "Generative AI is more than just a technology; it is a key tool that can simultaneously enhance administrative efficiency and citizen satisfaction." He added, "We will strengthen the digital capabilities of public officials to achieve tangible administrative innovation that citizens can truly experience."
