Ellis Group Signs Business Agreement with KISTI for AI and Data Center Collaboration
Cooperation for the Development of Large-Scale and High-Capacity AI Models
Ellis Group announced on the 30th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) for 'mutual cooperation in the operation and research of the National Data Exchange Node (NDeX), artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, and data centers.'
NDeX is an ultra-high-performance network infrastructure designed to facilitate large-scale data exchange between providers and consumers, and has been operated by KISTI since 2023.

View original imageThrough this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in the following areas: ▲ network and data center infrastructure collaboration to strengthen domestic sovereign AI research and development capabilities; ▲ public-private computing and network infrastructure collaboration for the development of large-scale, high-capacity AI models; ▲ and convergence research in other mutually relevant areas of joint interest.
Cho Buseung, Director of the Science and Technology Research Network Center at KISTI, stated, "Through this business agreement, we look forward to cooperating with Ellis Group in creating an ecosystem for utilizing NDeX-based AI and high-performance computing (HPC), as well as in the fields of data centers and AI."
