Daejeon City Extends Warm Support to Gyeongbuk Wildfire Victims
Operation of "Warmth Sharing Mobile Market" and "Food Truck Meal Sharing"
Delivery of 200 million KRW in disaster relief funds to North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, and Ulsan
Daejeon City announced that, together with the Daejeon Metropolitan Volunteer Center, it operated the "Warmth Sharing Mobile Market" and "Food Truck Meal Sharing" at the Cheongsong National Sports Center shelter from the 2nd to the 3rd to support wildfire victims in Cheongsong, North Gyeongsang Province.
This support was carried out in cooperation with Hanbat Housing Welfare Social Cooperative and NFK Food Truck Cooperative, providing 2,000 pieces of clothing worth about 80 million KRW and 800 servings of snacks (such as hot dogs and takoyaki) free of charge.
The city, together with the Korea Central Volunteer Center and the Community Chest of Korea, supported various costs including vehicle rental, transportation of goods, accommodation, and food truck operation.
On the 2nd, 200 million KRW in disaster relief funds was delivered to North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, and Ulsan through the Community Chest of Korea.
