On the 24th, Suseo Police Station announced that they are investigating two elementary school students who started a fire in a park last weekend. According to the police and fire authorities, on the 22nd at 3:03 PM, the students set fire to the grass in a park in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, to roast marshmallows.
The fire spread to the surrounding grass and extended to a nearby construction site. Fire authorities deployed 67 personnel and 17 vehicles, completely extinguishing the fire within an hour. Some grass and discarded wood were burned, but there were no reported casualties.
